My day got off to a great start with a 5k road run and in the evening I did an intense workout of Tabata chinups, pushups, crunches and squats with a 1/2 mile run after each Tabata exercise.

Jacksonville Trails
Today Clista and I ran/hiked the Jacksonville trails. They alternated between ice and mud, both being extremely slick, but it was still an awesome run/hike.

Lower Table Rock, Taxes and Chores
I hiked Lower Table Rock this morning.......it was snowing fairly hard on top with a cold stiff breeze. Only a little accumulation though. I was really hoping for more of a storm and several inches of snow, but it was still pretty awesome.
Afterward, I did a bunch of home and business chores in addition to getting my taxes ready.

5k Run, Walks and Yard Work
My day started with a great 5k road run and ended with 1.5 hrs of yard work thats been put off since fall (still a ton to do too). In between I did a couple of short warmup/cooldown walks with clients and played the part of a punching bag for the same clients......well, actually I had them punching the focus mitts, but it was close to 1/2 hour of holding my hands up non-stop and absorbing some pretty good punches.

My energy was a bit low today, but in addition to 3 warmup/cooldown walks with clients, I hiked Lower Table Rock....I managed to get the hike in during a break in the heavy rain so I didn't get too soaked.

Savannah Loop 5k
It was a busy day and I didn't think I'd find or make time for any exercise, but it was so nice out that Clista and I decided to do a 5k run on the Lower Table Rock Savannah Loop. It is a fantastic trail with very mild hills and not many people......Great Run!

Lower Table Rock Hike
Today, Clista and I spent a few hours hiking Lower Table Rock.....it was the perfect sunny day for a hike and we spotted the first wildflowers of the season in addition to seeing bluebirds, meadowlarks, a ruby throated hummingbird and hearing frogs around the vernal pools. It doesn't get much better than this!!

Active Day!!
I got up early this morning and did a 5k run around the neighborhood followed by 20 mins of power snatches and power cleans. Later, after totally kicking a client's butt, I did a 2 hour photoshoot (a bit of a workout in its own right) followed by another 5k run on a dirt track. And, of course, lots of VRAs to fill out the day.

The Beast x 2 ..... Again
Once again, I only found time to walk the Beast twice with a client. But, I'm sure I'll make up for it this weekend. While everyone else is stuffing their faces with garbage while watching some big game on tv, I'll be out hiking and running the trails.
