A Simple Day of Recovery

After all the bending, twisting, squatting and lifting I did yesterday helping the kids move, I kept it simple today and only did a 1 hr bike ride, 20 mins on the heavy bag, 20 mins on the x-trainer and a couple hours of volleyball. A nice recovery day.

Moving Day

Walking and Circuits

I started the day with 2 brisk 1/2 mile warmup/cooldown walks with clients and followed this with about 1/2 hr of circuits of squat thrusts, pushups, pullups, lunges, jumping jacks and x-trainer. Later I spent about 2 hours helping the kids move.....lots of lifting and carrying, and more to come tomorrow.

A Whole Lotta This And That

All of the various non-exercise activities almost kept me from doing any kind of workout today, but I finally squeezed in 20 mins on the heavy bag and 20 mins on the x-trainer. Not a bad day overall.

Bike, Cleans and Power Cleans

After an hour long bike ride, I spent about 1/2 hour doing cleans, power cleans and a few sets of pushups on the rings. With a few various other activities, it made for a decent day of activity.

Push 'n' Pull 'n' Pedal

It was a pretty basic, but intense workout today.......DB incline bench presses, lat pulldowns, cable crossovers and seated cable rows followed by 30 intense minutes on the stationary bike.
