TOPFIT Daily Activities --- Leg Workout and Heavy Bag
It was a bit of a lazy day, but I still made time for a light leg workout of BB squats followed by circuits of plyometric alternating lunges, SB leg curls and calf raises. A little later I spent 30 mins on the heavy bag.

Everyone has to start somewhere, right? If it's your first time taking your exercise program seriously, it can be tough to know where to begin.
Most of the fitness programs you find will be targeted towards people that already have a good deal of experience under their belt, or those that are in great shape. Programs like CrossFit are incredibly difficult for newbies, and may even lead to serious injuries. Even simple bodybuilding can be dangerous if done incorrectly. read more

I got away from the crowds this afternoon and had a relaxing run and hike on the J-Ville Forest Park trails. I was lucky again and had them all to myself.

Burning 400 calories in a single hour is an attainable goal for most able-bodied individuals. Of course we burn calories by breathing and performing normal daily activities, but there are a wide variety of exercises to suit any person's lifestyle and have fun at the same time. It does not require a significant investment in time or equipment. The following list are easy activities that you can perform on a daily basis to burn off at least 400 calories in one hour. read more

Exercise is crucial for people with arthritis — it increases strength and flexibility, reduces joint pain and helps combat fatigue.
Of course, when stiff and painful joints are already bogging you down, the thought of walking around the block or swimming a few laps might seem overwhelming.
