More Circuits

In the morning, I went on two 1/2 mile walks with the kids when they came over to workout (all 4 of them today.....wow!) plus we did 5 circuits of pullups, pushups, crunches, squats and KB swings. This was one of those workouts where everyone had to keep going until the slowest person completed 15 reps on whichever station they were on.
After this, I went to the gym and spent 35 mins on the x-trainer.

Circuits, Boxing and Jump Rope

After taking care of business today, I did 6 circuits of the following:
BB Thrusters x 5
Pullups x 10
KB Swings x 15
Pushups x 20
SB Crunches x 25
Later I went back out and spent 1/2 hr alternating between jump rope and heavy bag.

Low Activity Day

For some reason the plan just didn't come together today and all I got done was 2 laps of the Beast. Hopefully tomorrow won't have as many (convenient) distractions.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I got the new year off to a good start with a 5k run in the morning. I followed this with some supersets of power cleans and front squats. Later, I spent some quality time with my heavy bag.
What did you do to get the year off to a good start?

A Good Back Workout

Ok, so I'm staying in the "gym rut", but it was still a good workout. I did DB rows, lat pulldowns, seated cable rows and hanging scapular depression/retraction. I followed this with 15 mins each on the x-trainer and step mill and I finished the day with a run up the Baby Beast with some clients.

Uh, Oh.....I Think I'm Getting In a Rut

It seems I've gotten in a rut with my leg workouts. I guess because I didn't feel like thinking about what I was going to do, I just did the same ole, same ole again for my legs. Leg presses, leg extensions, leg curls and donkey calf raises. I followed this with 30 mins on the x-trainer.
Going to have to do some squats soon!!
